In his post-match interview after yesterday's 6-0 win against Bromyard, Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle said that some of his players had needed game time.

Youngster Jay Richmond Started At Left Back |
"On another day we may not have had the bench we had today, we may not have had Mills and Symons and Birch on the bench, we may have just rested them completely but with the momentum the way it is I think it's important they keep playing a part. It was nice they both came on and got a goal.
"It's good, the changing room is happy and everyone is pleased."
Beadle doesn't seem keen to be reminded of the excellent run the team is currently on.
"The twenty one games is great, I don't keep talking about it too much because at the end of the day it is what it is. We want to win every game we play in and at the moment we are doing that and that's great.
"For me the performances have been okay but they are not quite where I want us to be right now.
"We've talked about complaceny and going out there with the attitude that everything is going to be easy and it's not.
"It doesn't matter who you play on the day, it's eleven v eleven, and if we don't do our job correctly and play the way we can play then it's always going to be a tough game.
"Saturday (FA Vase) will be no different because I'm sure they will come here after we beat them at their place with the attitude of nothing to lose. And that's a dangerous attitude to have for us because they haven't got anything to lose. They will just come and play the game.
"Hopefully we will have our injuried players back for next week and we will be ready to go and go and win. If we do then great and if we don't we start again the following week."
Beadle signed a second keeper a couple of days ago.
"I think we've been very fortunate as a club to go as many games as we have done without Harvey picking up any injuries so fair play to him and the work he has done to keep himself in shape.
"I think certainly since the run started he has been better protected which has kept him fit, kept him safe.
"But we've always known we would be extremely lucky to go through a whole season without having another keeper with us but we wanted to make sure we had the right one.
"We've looked around around a fair bit and Martin was on my mind in the summer but at the time it wasn't quite right (he's just become a father - ed) so we've managed to speak to him and get him in now which is great for us.
"It makes us stronger again, real good competition between the two of them. He's 28, he's played a lot of games, he's a good size and he's got a very good presence in his area.
"We're a bit disappointed he couldn't play today but that the rules but at the end of the day, as I've said to all of them, it's going to take a team effort, there are a lot of young lads in that changing room, Harvey included who is 20 years of age. He's only just starting his career and he's had a very good season up to now.
"It's down to me to keep everyone happy, everyone bobbling along and to make sure everyone has that picture of what the bigger picture is at the end of the season. Sometimes they can be a little bit selfish, egos take over and that's understandable because every player wants to play every game.
"Their manager said to me before the game that surprisingly today he's got every single player he's got signed available. Recently they haven't had player available so that's the problem we all have.
"But I would like to think our players have an understanding of where we are going and we need the squad we have to give us the best chance to get where we want to be.
"If you go through the minutes they've played in the games they've played everyone so far in that squad has played a part.
"Even Sirdic who has played today hasn't played much, he's still played his part in the group. Carlos the same. Everyone will play their part.
"And there are a lot of games to go between now and the end. We are still in three cup competitions, we're just under half way through the season now so we've still got 22 games to go in the league.
"And with the weather being as it is there is good chance some of the away games, may be a few home games, may be called off. So we are going to have a cluster of games at some point and to manage that we are going to have to have a very good squad.
"And I believe we've got a very good squad at the moment."
