The Express and Star, just like Bulls News, occassionally publishes a 'from the archives' article.
Their latest one is all about Ryan Green and his time at Wolves

At the time Green was the youngest player ever to be picked for Wales, even younger than Ryan Giggs.
The game was against Malta.
"I'm overjoyed, it's hard to take
in considering I haven't played in Wolves' first team yet," said Green.
And it was sometime before he did feature for Wolves. But on a Tuesday night in November 1998, Green was picked to play against Sheffield United as regulars, Kevin Muscat and Darren Bazeley were injuried.
'Lining up at right-wing-back, he was cool in defence and confident going forward,' said the match report in the Express and Star
"Confidence, the appreciative crowd soon realised, is not a problem for the 18-year-old."
Green played for seventy minutes but had to be subbed following some 'over-zealous' United tackling which kept him side-lined for several weeks. But he couldn't get back in the starting eleven.
In January 2000, still without a second start for the first team, Green handed in a transfer request.
"I’m hoping to speak to him again very quickly, but he won’t train with
the first team or be considered for senior games for the time being," said manager Colin Lee.
Green stayed with Wolves and got his chance the following season playing in six of the first fourteen games.
However in a local derby with West Brom, Green was sent off in the first half after two late tackles on Jason Roberts. He never started again for Wolves and the following season went on loan to Torquay after a request from manager Colin Lee, who had moved on from Wolves.
In October 2001 he moved to Millwall then managed by another former Wolves boss Mark McGee. In July 2003 he joined Hereford United.
