A tribunal has ruled that Halifax must pay Chester £8,000 for former Bull Kingsley James. The former Port Vale man, 23, made the switch in the summer but the two sides could not agree a fee. Chester will also receive a 20% sell on on the midfielder, who played 43 times for the Deva Stadium outfit last season after leaving Edgar Street.

Coventry Sphinx have announced the signing of striker David Blenkinsopp from Bedworth United. The Coventry based frontman has scored once in nine games for the Southern League Premier strugglers this term having spent most his career in higher levels that the Midland Premier League.

Long Eaton have signed a trio of forwards. Alex Ford, Brad Wells, and Grant Ryan have joined the club this week, with defenders Josh Raven and Jamie McKeever also joining the club since Charlie Palmer left for Belper Town.
