The Football League have increased the parachute payments to clubs relegated from League Two. Instead of receiving 50% of the usual TV money for one season, a relegated club will now receive 100% in the first year and 50% in the second year if they fail to regain their place at the first attempt.

Ashford United are claiming they are the victims of a 'huge scam' after papers were filed at Companies House appointing a receiver for the Step 5 side amid claims of debts of £150,000. The Nuts & Bolts were only formed in 2011 as a phoenix of Ashford Town with a crisis meeting being held tonight. A Leeds based receiver has been recorded, with the appointment supposedly made by a Stockport based company.
