Beadle Pleased With Level Of Support

Peter Beadle Talking To The Squad After The Game
Yesterday's attendance at Edgar Street was 2481. Peter Beadle was pleased.

"All we can do as a team is keep performing the way we are, to keep them wanting to come back," said the Hereford FC manager.

"The fact they follow us in the numbers they do is phenomenal, we talk about it nearly every week.

"I feel it's partly down to the players and the performances they are putting in. It's not just about the results, we are trying to play in the right manner, we are trying to play in the style that was part of the Hereford culture before.

"And we are playing in that style and we are creating goals and it's very exciting to watch.

"I'd like to think that people come every week in anticipation of what we're going to do and how we're going to play and look forward to the way we play."

Several results went for Hereford, including Heanor who lost.

"We pay attention to the results. It's a nice place to be, we're top of the table.

"We've gone back to top of the table, some of the results have gone our way today with draws and a couple of teams losing. That's going to happen.

"The next six to eight weeks are vital for us, to get through that Christmas period and to come out into January just to see where we are. Everyone is going to be playing everybody so all those top teams they haven't all played one another yet.

"We're played Heanor, Highgate, Long Eaton so we've played everybody (Ed - Not Alvechurch or Khalsa). They haven't yet so as we've seen today Highgate have gone to Shepshed and got a draw, Heanor have been beaten at home by Khalsa. Stourport have beaten Long Eaton so we want to see what the scores are as we want to be top of the pile.

"Eventually everyone is going to drop points, sooner or later, so we keep an eye on it."
