News Round-Up

The sorry state at Northampton is compounded by the news that County Development Northampton Limited (CDNL), the company managing the stalled redevelopment of Sixfields, is itself facing winding-up proceedings from the contractor that had been working on the stadium. CDNL is run by Cobblers' chairman David Cardoza and his father.

Alvechurch have announced the permanent signing of loanee striker Jordan Nadat from Sutton Coldfield. They have also kept defender Mark Smith after he rejected a 7 day approach from Coleshill Town, but boss Ian Long has released winger Nigel Penney and forward Joel Ambalu. The Church have also put in an approach for Lichfield City winger Tom Evans.

Ex-Bull Mick Galloway has joined the coaching staff at Long Eaton United. Galloway previously managed the club before work commitments forced his resignation in 2013. Brocton have added a striker to their squad ahead of tomorrow's game with Matt Dean joining from Stourport. Dean has made six starts and seven sub appearances for the Swifts without scoring.
