Harvey Becomes No.2 At Halifax

Former Bull Jimmy Harvey has been appointed as Assistant Manager at Halifax.

He joins the Shaymen with new manager Darren Kelly, who he originally joined up with at Oldham in the summer. Kelly, who was in his first managerial job at Boundary Park, was dismissed from the Latics three weeks ago after just nine games in charge.

The pair take over at The Shay with their new club on a run of six games without a win and with only Kidderminster below them in the National League table.

Meanwhile, Byron Anthony will be one of two coaches to assist new Newport manager John Sheridan during his first match at the weekend. The former Plymouth boss previously worked with Exiles General Manager Jason Turner at Home Park, and wants to bring former Pilgrims forward Warren Feeney in as his assistant for the longer term.
