Yorwerth Hasn't Forgotten His Time At Hereford

Josh Yorwerth Playing For Hereford At Frome

Ipswich Town defender Josh Yorwerth is pleased he came to Edgar Street from Cardiff City last season for a short loan spell.

And he thinks he will go out on loan again when the window opens next Thursday.

Yorweth never started a game for the Bluebirds and was released last May.

“The last season and the season before, playing under-21 football at Cardiff was OK, but I went to Hereford on-loan, just for five or six games, to try and get some games under my belt,” he told the Ipswich Star.

“I went off my own back and did that myself.

“My agent couldn’t find me anything and it’s quite hard to get loan moves for youngsters who haven’t got any experience or not played any games.

“I went up there for five or six games, went back to Cardiff and wasn’t given an opportunity." 

Whilst with Hereford United, Yorwerth was sent off for a bad challenge in the FA Trophy game against Sutton United last November. 

However he did score in the Southern League game against Frome.
