Play The Game And Not The Occasion Says Boldmere Boss

Boldmere St Michaels are Hereford FC's opponents on Saturday and their manager Stuart Grosvenor has told his players it should be an occasion to remember.

"It's not often that you get to play in front of a crowd of 4,000 at this level of football," Grosvenor told the Sutton Observer.

"So I am sure it's a match that the lads will savour and remember but we have been trying to stress to them that they need to play the game rather than the occasion.

"Ultimately, it's just three points at stake on Saturday and so we just have to focus on the match and prepare properly for it."

"Hereford still need to adapt to the standard.

"They are a new club but will still have the mentality within that the previous club had.

"They are still a work in progress but they look a good side. They can be very impressive if you allow them to be."
