Portsmouth's Supporters Trust have former midfielder Johnny Ertl standing in their elections this year. The 32 year old Austrian ended his playing stint with the club in the summer, and is one of seven candidates for four available spots. Press reports say the Trust's shareholding in the club has dipped from 60% to 47% as they battle with issues funding the state of the ageing Fratton Park stadium and future development plans, meaning the 'Pompey Presidents' have increased their percentage in the club since the April 2013 takeover.

Merthyr Town have been named the Best Grassroots Club at the 2015 UEFA Grassroots awards. The Southern League side won the award with the UEFA press release noting that the club 'embodies the very essence of sport and community spirit'. Northampton Council are reported to have cancelled a secret meeting planned for yesterday with the club and their potential Indian investors. The Council are an interested party in the deal after loaning the club £10.25million to improve the Sixfields site.

Newport's Supporters Trust say they have now received £72,000 in pledges towards their proposed takeover of the club. The figure is up from £37,000 this time last week. Trust membership now stands at 1,543 - half the figure the local press say is wanted by the Trust. Membership stood at 324 when former club chairman Les Scadding gifted his shares to supporters.

Torquay's Supporters Trust say their relationship with the club's new owners has broken down. A statement from the Trust says that the club have 'stepped back from any relationship with the Trust' and that the club's owners intend to push forward with plans to buy the club's Plainmoor home from Torbay Council without the Trust's involvement.

Brocton have signed Sean Kinsella, John Hodnett, and Craig Holland after a slow start to the season. Holland has not played for a while since a serious leg break. Coleshill have signed Reece Leek from Sutton Coldfield. They have also signed Lewis Hayden.
