Hereford FC main sponsor, Jewson, helped raise a considerable amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support during yesterday's match at Edgar Street.
As well as having collecting buckets taken around the ground, the company held a competition to win prizes.
"We decided to raise money for Macmillan," said Chris from Jewson.
"We are the main sponsor of Hereford Football Club and we thought it was the perfect opportunity to raise money.
"The crowd here today has been really fantastic and supported the cause with buying raffle tickets.
"We've also had a sponsored meal before hand where we had suppliers and customers of ours to develope relationships.
"The aim hopefully is to raise £4393 for would be for a Macmillan nurse for a month.
"Hereford Football Club has been really supportive of us and the charity itself. They helped us with whatever was needed and allowed to do this competition on the pitch at half-time."
