I Thought We Were Exceptional Today Said Beadle

Peter Beadle
After tonight's 4-1 win against Lye Town, Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle told the press how pleased he was with the performance of his side.

"I more delighted with the performance," said Beadle.

"I thought we were excellent the whole game, I think that's the best we've played.

"They were a strong side who people have said will be there or thereabouts but I thought we totally dominated the game.

"I think we had a twenty minute spell first half where we've worn them down but after twenty/thirty minutes of the game I thought there was only one team in it.

"I thought we were exceptional today the way we moved the ball, the chances we created, we looked solid at the back and a good all round performance."

Lye scored first with a great finish.

"We've said all along that teams haven't had to work hard for their goals but you hold your hand up when someone finshes like that, a fantastic finish. In fact I thought he was their man of the match.

"But we coped with him especially second half when he drifted out of the game a little bit.

"We've played a team that were bang on form and some of our play was spectatular on times."

John Mills scored all four goals but interviewer Keith Hall felt Pablo Haysham had a 'sensational evening'.

"John will score goals, that's why he's here. But he can't do that without the rest of the team. They have got to put the ball in the area for him.

Pablo Haysham
"Pablo had a hand in two of his goals. Sol was fantastic tonight, I thought it was his best game for us and he had a hand in the third or fourth goal.

Chance For Sol Wheatley
"The front four were exceptional, backed up by the two boys in midfield who I thought were solid. They picked up all the second balls and were really good. Backed up by a really solid sound back four and goalkeeper."
