Ryan Green Keeping Fit At Pershore |
Ryan Green was at Pershore with the Hereford FC squad last night but couldn't take part in the game as his international clearance from Wales to England hadn't come through.
"I was hoping to play, hoping the international clearance went through but it hasn't," Green told BN.
"So I did a little bit of fitness training before the game, hopefully ready for Saturday if selected.
"I've been playing centre-half for the last few years but anywhere along the back four.
"I think my mid-field days are over so if I'm asked to be full back then no problem at all."
Green was asked what he thought of the youngsters who played in the game.
"Really impressed, some really good youngsters, some really good talent, better than I expected.
"Some lads for the future there.
"They've played against men and should have been three or four nil up to be honest. So much the better team.
"Harvey only had a few minor shots to save."
It will be Green's third spell at Edgar Street.
"Really glad to be back. I've been six years at this club. This will be the seventh.
"Ideally I'd like to finish my career here by getting Hereford back up the leagues, get them back to the Conference."
