Former Player Barrie Meyer Has Died


Barrie Meyer, a former Hereford United player, has died at the age of 83. He had been living in South Africa.

Meyer has had a lifetime in professional sport, as a cricketer with Gloucestershire, a footballer with Bristol Rovers and Bristol City, and twenty-five years as a first-class and Test match umpire. 

Meyer played several games for Hereford United during the 1963/64 season.
