Beadle To Rest Players For Pershore

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle is to leave several players out of the squad that will face Pershore in the Midland League Cup-tie tomorrow evening.

The manager feels the match is a suitable occasion to give players, who have not started games recently, some game time.

"We do try and win every game but we do know that there's a few boys in there that might need a bit of a rest now," said Beadle.

"We've eight games in and we've got some good subs on the bench who have been waiting patiently for their chance.

"Some of them will get a chance on Tuesday to come in and stake a claim to show us where they are. It will be good for their fitness levels as well.

"So we will make a few changes on Tuesday. It's not the most important competition we're in. But I go there expecting to win the game."

Tony James will remain suspended for this game but will be available for selection next Saturday as he will have completed his three match ban.

Beadle is pleased he has now has competition for places in his squad.

"If there is a chance to improve the team we will do.

"We will try as best we can to bring in within the budget we have."
