Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle was pleased with taking three points at Heanor this afternoon.
"We came here today to a team that has won four out of four in the league so we knew it was going to be tough," said Beadle in his post match interview.
"We got a great start and were really bright going forward today and gave ourselves a great chance going two up. When there's one goal in it there's always a chance and even coming out second half 3-2 it was really important we got the next goal if we could."
Beadle was asked about the red card.
"I think it was a foul on Pablo and I think they felt he had gone down too easily and I think the fellow got a bit excited about it.
"It was handbags, I don't think he pushed him in the chest. I don't think it was too serious but you can't raise your hands.
"To be fair they were lucky not to have someone sent off for the penalty, goal scoring opportunity.
"But what was really pleasing was once we got ourselves in front with the fourth goal we really showed what we are about, especially with them only having ten men.
"I though we moved the ball great, more chances and it was a nice to have a convincing result against a team that has done extremely well. I think they are as good as we've played this season. Their front four are very very good but we managed to keep them quite today and we've done it at the other end."
Beadle was asked about the debut of Jamie Willets.
"Fairly solid, I think he was at fault for their first goal but it's a baptism of fire because he's come to a team that have won four on the bounce in the League.
"Their front two are extremely good with lots of experience so it was going to be a tough game for him anyway.
"I thought he grew into the game as the game went along.
"Obviously your first game for a club is always tough. It was a big game for him and he wanted to impress and I thought he did that once he settled himself down and calmed down and he did what he does best, head it and kick it and defend.. He got better as the game went on."
John Mills scored three of Hereford's goals.
"We knew John had got goals in him. He's got five in six before today and a hat trick today and he could have scored two or three more.
"He's trying to claim the fourth one, not in a million years is he having that. He said he's definitely claiming it and I said he should have had five or six let alone the one that didn't go in for him.
"I thought the front four started really well today, the two lads down the middle were extremely sharp. Great piece of play for the first goal, the penalty and they looked bright all day.
"If we get ourselves in front and teams have to open up and it creates gaps and spaces then that is what they are good at, capitalising on those spaces and they've done that today.
"It probably went un-noticed but the ball for the last goal from Carlos was an absolutely fantastic pass. Great time for him to come on, perfect time for us to get him involved with the first team as quickly as we can with the goal advantage we had.
"For him to have an impact like that with a fantastic pass and well finished as well by Nathan who came off the bench and got himself two goals.
"A nice ending to what has been a good day for us."
