A former Chester City director is appealing against a nine year sentence for drugs offences. Paula White, who was a director of the club in 2007 under Stephen Vaughan, set up a business selling legal highs that continued trading despite their wares being deemed illegal. White, who was also a director of Widnes Rugby League side with Vaughan, is claimed to have made up to £3.5million from the venture.

Farnborough have announced the signing of 14 players despite not knowing if they'll play football this season. They face a creditors meeting on Monday to revise the terms of their CVA, then face an FA appeal on Wednesday to find out whether they'll be forced to lodge a £30,000 bond to play in the Ryman League this season. 

Salisbury recorded a Wessex League record attendance of 806 for their first home league game, but they lost to Whitchurch 2-1 on Tuesday night. Steve Claridge's side had a goalless draw in their opening match. Former Bulls loanee Richard Brodie has left Southport for Aldershot on a one year deal. The 28 year old scored 16 times for the Sandgrounders last season.

Crawley have banned three fans from the club over posts on an unofficial forum. The trio are claimed to have run an 'extremely disruptive campaign' to undermine the board, but the supporters say they have legitimate concerns over the ownership and funding of the club which was recently transferred to two serving Directors.
