The organisation has been awarded a five year lease for the ground by Herefordshire Council.
Nicholas Vaughan, Chairman at United in the Community said: "We cannot thank the council enough for concluding discussions so quickly and ahead of the new football season. As we aim to have the best youth academy outside the football league this requires the support of everyone in the community, so I am delighted that Herefordshire Council have taken a leading role in that."
Victoria Park will be used as a training base for the Under 18 Youth and Development Squads in addition to being a match day venue for the Youth Academy age groups from U12 - U16.
United in the Community provides the official player pathway to Hereford Football Club with the most recent graduate being 16 Year Old Youth Team Goalkeeper James Aurelius who made his debut on Tuesday at Malvern Town. Previous graduates include Jarrod Bowen, Billy Murphy, Dylan Bonella and Ben Miller.
Steve Brotherwood, Community Manager, commented: "To have Victoria Park as our training base for a prolonged period of time is a massive boost to all players and staff. It’s a fantastic area to develop footballers, there are no distractions and its location and facilities will help take our pathway to the next level."
Brotherwood added: "Our trustees, staff and volunteers have worked hard at Victoria Park over the course of the off season to improve the facilities and create a positive environment to help our young players develop. We have renovated the home changing room to give the whole place a new lease of life with his paint brush and our commercial manager Mick Loader has secured some excellent sponsorship and advertising to give the place that professional feel."
Cllr Harry Bramer, cabinet member contracts and assets added: “We have been committed as a council to ensuring the continuation of football at Edgar Street; we are equally committed to enabling our young football talent to thrive. We commend UITC on the great work they do in our communities and wish all involved the best of luck for the future.”
