A Grimsby fan faced court today after being charged with assaulting a Barnet steward with an inflatable shark. Kenny Meech entered a not guilty plea after being accused of the assault follow a late goal in a game between the sides in February in which he was part of a crowd that surged to the front of terracing to celebrate with their team. He was subsequently found guilty and ordered to pay a total of £880 in fines, costs, and compensation to the victim.
