Former Hereford United goalkeeper Adam Bartlett has signed for Hartlepool.
After leaving Edgar Street he spent three years at Gateshead before being released earlier in the summer. New Gateshead boss Malcolm Crosby told the press the former Newcastle trainee was, at the age of 29, wanting to move into coaching rather than concentrate on playing.
Elsewhere, David Cornell has signed for Oldham on a one year deal after a short trial. The former Swansea man made 28 of his 35 career appearances for the Bulls, but hasn't made a first team appearance since September 2013.
Meanwhile, Tristan Plummer has signed for Weston-Super-Mare for the third time. The former Bristol City man changed his mind over a new contract at Aldershot to drop to the National South side. Plummer joins Jamie Edge at the club.
