Two of the new signings have spoken to the Hereford Times about joining Hereford FC.
Tony James told the paper: “I’m very happy to have joined. Even though I had stepped away from playing for a season I have still not got rid of that feeling of wanting to play. The desire has still been there.
“I’ve got nothing but fond memories of the place. You don’t spend that long somewhere without having affection for it."
Goalkeeper Harvey Rivers was equally excited: “I’m absolutely buzzing, the decision was a no-brainer for me.
“My chances at Gloucester were limited and I want to be playing football. When I saw that he [Hereford manager Pete Beadle] had got the job here I kept my eye on things. When he contacted me my mind was made up straight away.”
Meanwhile, The Sign People have tweeted they were at the ground at 5am this morning to remove the lettering from the Edgar Street frontage.
