James McQuilkin has signed a deal with Torquay until the end of the season after spending the last three months at Plainmoor on non-contract terms. The 26 year old has made three Conference starts and also featured in their FA Trophy run. Another of Jon Taylor's 46 has found a new club with Bilal Yafai joining Leamington of the Conference North. The teenage had an unsuccessful trial with Oxford in January.
Kidderminster say that benefactors Ernie and Kath Lane have agreed to fund losses at the club until the summer, when the club will remain full time but vastly cut their wage bill. Last night's AGM lasted just seven minutes but a lengthy Q&A session took place afterwards that saw the board admit they had no idea of their potential financial problems until July, by which time manager Gary Whild had already largely spent his allocated budget.
