It looks as though Hereford FC will have to wait for at least a couple of weeks before they are given the keys to Edgar Street.
Herefordshire Council arranged for electrical safety testing around the ground last week and it's thought this isn't yet completed.
In any case the Council are unlikely to allow entry until solicitors have finished with the details of the lease and then it will need to be signed.
With the Council so short of money it looks as though Hereford FC will have to do any roof repairs.
There is an amount of pipe work that needs replacing in the bars because beer left in them will have deemed them useless.
Burst pipes in toilets need repairing.
Major work is also needed to the electrics in most of the canteens. There is suggestion that one or more of the canteens may need gutting.
Several internal locks were drilled out by the Council and need
replacing, and some of the doors and woodwork need attention.
And that's on top of tidying up and painting.
