Hereford FC chairman Jon Hale has spoken to BBC Hereford and Worcester sports editor Trevor Owens about his visit to the FA at Wembley yesterday.
Hale confirmed that should Hereford FC gain the lease to Edgar Street the FA thought the club would 'go back in at step five', probably the Midlands Alliance.
"The FA will look at every case," said Hale.
"What they don't want is clubs going away with large followings that may cause the home club a problem in terms of capacity.
"They are going to be sensible about it, they are going to listen to our case.
"It's down to us as a new club to put our case strongly with as much information as we possibly can."
