Delroy Gordon Heads Towards Goal |
Delroy Gordon's solid performance helped keep Arlesey at bay this afternoon at Edgar Street.
However the former Nuneaton player did conceed that the team could have scored more had they taken their chances better.
"4-1, we're happy with that," Gordon told BN.
"Any team would be happy with a 4-1 win.
"It's great for the lads, we worked hard and deserved to win.
"We're enjoying it, the lads enjoy each others company and that helps."
It's another FA Trophy game next Saturday against a lower-graded team.
"On paper we should beat them but obviously look at the FA Cup this week.
"Same ethics in every game, work hard and you'll win a game."
Gordon explained how he fits in playing for Hereford.
"I'm training with another team, keeping myself in shape and I come here every game.
"With work it's difficult to pop over.
"I'm part time, Nuneaton were part-time and so it makes more sense to stay part-time."
