Hereford United lost 2-1 to Corby Town in tonight's Southern League Premier match at Edgar Street.
Corby had the better of the first half although Samuel Bobes-Gilroy did hit the post for Hereford early on. Bilal Yafai also had a shot which Corby keeper Paul Walker managed to tip over the bar.
Former Port Vale winger Wilson Carvalho netted late into the first half to give the visitors the lead before Greg Mills picked himself up to net from the spot after a foul by former Corby player Brad Gascoigne to double the lead. Javia Roberts pulled one back with 20 minutes left but the Steelmen held out for the three points.
