Corby manager Tommy Wright was happy to take all three points at Edgar Street this evening but admitted his team shouldn't have let Hereford back into the game after going 2-0 ahead.
"It wasn't as pretty as I would have liked tonight," said Walker.
"But then we did give Hereford a few chances more than I wanted to.
"But a win is a win."
Corby went 2-0 ahead before Hereford got one back.
"We said at half-time, don't give them opportunities.
"If you give them that little bit of belief then they're young lads and they do thrive on confidence.
"We let them back into the game and it was always going to be a nervy few minutes but we stuck in."
