Hereford United have told St John Ambulance that their services are no longer required at Edgar Street.
The first aiders has been a regular fixture at Edgar Street for as long as most fans can remember but, in a cost cutting measure, the club have decided to use stewards for first aid needs instead. The Council have confirmed to BN that appropriate first aid training and certification will need to be provided to meet the terms of the club's safety certificate.
The charity was owed £3,598.61 in July according to the CVA document. It is currently unknown whether this sum has been settled.
