The local press are pushing the Southern League for answers about the criteria that Hereford United have met to be accepted into the division.
It was expected that footballing debts would have to be settled for the club to take it's place in the Premier division, but players and other unpaid staff were quick to query the decision to accept the Bulls with no payments received.
BBC Hereford and Worcester have sought a response from the Southern League, while it is understood that players have contacted the PFA to seek answers from the FA.
MP Jesse Norman is also seeking answers from the Southern League and FA.
