Is Lonsdale Breaching FA Rules?

A question has been raised on the Bulls Banter forum whether Andy Lonsdale's involvement with the Bulls breaches FA rules.

FA rules, for the FA Cup, state that a person cannot have involvement in two clubs in the competition. Rule 24 "Dual Interests And Association" states that, without written consent, no person or club can have an 'involvement' in a second club. The definition includes the following:

(iii) is involved in any capacity whatsoever in the management or administration of that Club;
or
(iv) has any power whatsoever to influence the financial, commercial or business affairs or the management or administration of that Club;

Similar rules also exist in the Southern League and the Combined Counties League where Lonsdale is currently President at Bedfont & Feltham FC, who also participated in the FA Cup in the 2013/14 season.

Fans have already suggested that his presence at Monday's Council meeting indicates that he is involved in the business affairs of the club.

Lonsdale has denied that he is in breach of FA rules, telling users on the Bulls Banter forum (link): "How can I be in any breach of FA rules all I am doing is assisting tommy on a consultancy basid"

Lonsdale's side Bedfont & Felgate have also announced a friendly against Swindon Town, the side that Tommy Agombar's son is currently contracted to, this summer.
