The Board of HUST held a meeting last evening to discuss in detail the proposed partnership with the group led by Jon Hale, the group of business people who have developed an alternate strategy to provide professional football in Herefordshire in the event of the demise of HUFC 1939.
The Chair of HUST Chris Williams reported on the details of the partnership to establish a Phoenix Club, Community Based and Supporter led, and also provided an update on the joint visit to the offices of the Herefordshire Council earlier in the afternoon.
The meeting unanimously agreed the following in the event of the demise of HUFC 1939.
1. The Board of HUST support the partnership with the group led by Jon Hale
2. The Board of HUST accept the invitation of the group led by Jon Hale to attend a joint meeting to discuss the detailed proposals of the partnership.
3. In accordance with the commitment of the HUST Board to present significant issues to its full membership and after further detailed development, the Trust Board will formally present the proposals to its membership in due course.

Events are changing almost hourly and certainly daily and at this point in time it is difficult to pin down exact timescales for events. We do have to be mindful of the critical issues of timing and Members of the Trust are reminded that this proposal will only become live in the event of the demise of HUFC 1939.
