Bulls News understands that the new regime at Edgar Street have demanded compensation for Jarrod Bowen, stalling a move to a Premier League side.
The youngster, one of more than 35 footballers whose contracts were broken by the club through repeated non-payment, had agreed a move to the top flight but the club have now thrown a spanner in the works by demanding a fee.
The move is expected to be thrown out, but is jeopardising the future of a young footballer that has earned a chance at one of the top clubs.
