The former Hereford United giantkiller Ricky George has tipped Pineau De
Re in the 2014 Grand National and will donate any winning proceeds to
the club.
George, who co-owned Earth Summit to victory in the 1998 Grand National at Aintree, made the offer during a BBC Hereford & Worcester interview this week.
A £50 each-way bet will be placed in the hope that the 25/1 shot will repeat Earth Summit's dramatic triumph and boost the clubs fighting fund.
The Legend says: "I've got a background in the Grand National and I'm going to donate my bet to the Save the Bulls Fund via the Hereford United Supporters Trust.
"HUST will receive whatever I win and in some small way I'm hopeful that will help."
