Results Round-Up


The Bulls remain 19th in the Conference after today's results, with Tamworth moving level on points. The Lambs drew 0-0 with Braintree to hold 20th place and move within three goals of the Bulls, while Woking lost 2-1 at home to Grimsby to remain three points behind. Chester drew 1-1 with Aldershot to join Woking, with the Shots a point further behind. Hyde missed out on their first win of the season when Nuneaton equalised deep in stoppage time to claim a 2-2 draw. Dartford lost 1-0 at Forest Green to stay a point ahead of the Bulls, with the Gumpers moving four clear. Wrexham lost 3-2 at Macclesfield to stay two points ahead.

At the top, Cambridge lost for the first time this season as they went down 1-0 at Southport. Their lead stays at six points with Kidderminster losing 1-0 at Barnet, with manager Steve Burr not in attendance. Luton drew 0-0 with Gateshead to hold third, with Grimsby up to fourth with their win.  Alfreton move back into the chasing pack with a 3-0 win over Halifax, and Welling beat Lincoln 1-0 to move up to eighth.

FA Cup opponents Burton lost at home to Morecambe 1-0, and had defender Shane Cansdell-Sheriff sent off for a second yellow. He will miss the FA Cup match next Sunday.
