Jon Hale, who has emerged as the chief spokesperson for the newly launched Hereford United Supporters Trust, has confirmed that the Trust will work with HUISA (Hereford United Independent Supporters Association).
Interviewed by BBC H&W's Trevor Owens, Hale revealed that the two organisations had been in contact.
"We've spent some time talking to Keith Dodd who is the chairman of HUISA. They are very happy with where we are pitching ourselves.
"HUISA has done tremendous work over the years and donated an awful amount of money for this football club. Without them who knows where we would be today.
"These days they are mainly a fundraising arm and we hope that they continue.
"We would want to work with them at all times because we have a mutual interest and that is United."
So after Thursday's launch what is the next step for the Trust?
"We will have elections to organise the trust board. At some point in the next couple of months we will have a meeting with all the members and we can start to look at an agenda for the Trust.
"We will work to ensure that everything we do is for the benefit for the trust and the club."
