Little movement is expected at Edgar Street with the transfer window closing at 11pm tonight.
The Bulls picked up two loan players last week, and called striker Jake Harris into the squad for the first time, bringing the squad up to 22 players.
With no midweek match, the walking wounded will have more time to recover from their injuries. Michael Rankine had an ice pack on his damaged knee post-match on Saturday, but is expected to be closer to full fitness by the time the Bulls travel to Gateshead.
Daniel Leadbitter is also expected to travel north. The current swelling on his ankle means he cannot get a boot on his foot, but he expects to play some part next weekend if there is no further problem. Josh O'Keefe remains sidelined until the cast is removed from his broken arm, while Saturday's game is likely to be too early for Kingsley James and Danny Pilkington and their hamstring problems.
Rob Purdie is also expected to battle on with the midfielder reported to be set to make his 300th appearance for the club at Gateshead, just over 11 years after debuting as a late sub in a 2-1 win over Farnborough at the start of the 2002/3 season.
