Hereford United 'reserves' are set to play a reserve game against Bristol City today.
After Saturday's defeat at Gateshead, manager Martin Foyle felt the game might be useful.
"It might be interesting to see who is going to play in that one," said Foyle.
"There's a few and maybe three or four extra ones who will play.
"It will give some a little kick that they need and make them realise they are not guaranteed first team places."
Meanwhile around 60 to 70 supporters and others went to the launch of the Hereford United debenture scheme yesterday.
Michael Portillo was the guest speaker and reportedly spoke for the best part of an hour.
