Hereford United manager Martin Foyle is happy with the season to date. The Bulls have won three of their first six Conference games and drawn two others giving them eleven points from six games.
"With what's gone on this season and what our agenda is, I'm delighted to take the points," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Don't want to lose too many points to the bottom teams.
"I think it's important to try and get away from the bottom as quickly as we can.
"Once you are in a pack, then the confidence changes and anything can happen."
Meanwhile the pitch at Gateshead could be somewhat softer than any other pitch that Hereford have played so far this campaign.
Currently tomorrow (Friday) is predicted to be quite wet in the north-east of England.
