Forest Green are ahead of the Bulls on goal difference following a 3-1 home win over Alfreton.
At the foot of the table Aldershot stay on -3 points, but are seven short of safety after their loss. Chester picked up their first points with a 2-0 win at Wrexham, while Macclesfield slip down after a 1-0 home loss to Braintree. Woking are only a point clear of the bottom four after losing 2-1 at home to fellow strugglers Gateshead. Salisbury moved clear of the bottom four after a 3-1 win over Halifax, with the Shaymen having two men sent off before half time.
