Luke Graham started for GB Universities as they beat Malaysia 2-0 in their second World University Games match in Kazan.
The GB side had a reasonably comfortable ride against the Malaysians. Loughborough's James Aldred fired home a Sammy MacVicar cross after 19 minutes, before keeper James Belshaw had to tip a free kick round the post to preserve the lead.
GB doubled their lead early in the second half through Alex Dyer before Malaysia were reduced to ten men for violent conduct and a thunderstorm briefly threatened to halt proceedings.
GB will now take on Italy in their final group game, with the Italians having previously lost 2-0 to Malaysia.
