A first half brace from trialist 23, believed to be Nathaniel Jarvis
the former Cardiff player, together with one from Sam Smith gave United a good
interval lead. The second period
brought further goals through Rob Purdie and a Steve Leslie free kick.

Sam Smith (Number 11) Scored Hereford's Third Goal |
In
temperatures that exceeded 30c, The teams produced an entertaining match with
the final score looking a tad harsh on the well organised hosts.
Daniel Lloyd Weston started in goal with a
central defensive pairing of Dominic Collins and Oscar Radford flanked by Sam
Gwynne and Joel Edwards. Captain, for
the day, Kingsley James led the midfield that included Sam Smith, Jonathan
Brown, AN Other and George Conway with Nat Jarvis up top.

Rob Purdie's Header Put The Bulls 4-0 Ahead |
The second period saw
appearances by Josh O’Keefe, Chris Bush, Rod MacDonald, Dan Leadbitter, Dan
Walker, Roberto Purdos and a keeper suspected of being Rhys Evans plus a
surprise appearance by former Bull, Steve Leslie.

Trialist Steve Leslie Made It 5-0 With A Free-Kick |
It's always difficult to form
worthwhile opinions on first appearances but Rob Purdie certainly brought some
cohesion and control to proceedings.
Collins was impressive in the first half and Radford, who played
throughout, did his chances no harm with a solid display. Sam Gwynne and Joel Edwards didn’t look out
of place but the attack needs some time to gel.
Tuesday evening against Bristol
Rovers will be a more realistic test and should provide further opportunities
for players to stake a contract claim as Martin Foyle continues his
assessments.
Tuesday at Edgar Street is a 7.30 KO.
