HMRC has moved to start winding-up proceedings against Wycombe Wanderers.
With the club having already placed a cash call with fans, the taxman has set a March 25th High Court meet to claim a currently undisclosed sum of unpaid tax.
The club's Trust owners say that over 90% of respondents to a poll to sell the club's training ground have given approval, and that they will seek to complete the £350,000 deal quickly. The Trust have also asked members to pay £10 a month each into it's funds to help meet ongoing losses at the club, with a further £450,000 needed to see it through the summer months.
