Macclesfield beat Lincoln 2-1 last night in a game moved to avoid the Man Utd TV game only on Friday. The change still only drew 1,557 to Moss Rose, with the result pushing the Bulls down to ninth in the table.
In last night's other game, Mansfield won 2-1 at Woking. The post-match hit the headlines when Mansfield claimed a Woking supporter threw an object through the Mansfield dressing room window, hitting keeper Alan Marriott.
A number of Stags players, and manager Paul Cox, confronted a group of fans outside following the incident with Cox claiming they had coins thrown at them and were spat at.
A Woking statement denies that an object was thrown, saying the window was broken by a punch, and that a Season Ticket holder has been banned from the ground.
