Despite the recent FA Cup run and TV money, Hereford United are still short of cash and desperate for the weather to improve so some home games can be played.
The Bulls last played at Edgar Street on January 12th. The home game scheduled for January 19th, last Saturday, was postponed because of the weather. Hopefully, with a thaw predicted for this weekend, next Tuesday's home match against Mansfield will go ahead.
It can't come a day too soon as income at the club is down to a trickle at present and the players are due to be paid shortly.
"Things are still incredibly tight and the chairman has very little room for manoeuvre," said a source very close to the club.
Which is no help to manager Martin Foyle who has said he would like to freshen up the squad.
The only way he can do this is by selling one or more of his best players and/or agreeing loan deals for those not likely to make the starting eleven.
One plus point for Foyle is that several players with injuries have had a little longer to recover, which should mean the manager has a close-to fully fit squad to select from for next Tuesday's game.

Meanwhile revised dates are awaited for the home game against Dartford and the away game at Forest Green Rovers.
Neither of the three clubs has a game on February 5th. However if that date isn't suitable it will be a Tuesday night in March.
Currently March 12th or March 26th is available for the home game against Dartford and either March 19th or 26th for the game at Forest Green.
