The Bulls will hold a pitch inspection at 2pm to determine whether tonight's match can go ahead.
The club reports that a morning inspection, after only light overnight rain, deemed the pitch was currently playable. However further heavy rain is forecast and the match referee, Lee Swabey, will make an assessment this afternoon.
Meanwhile, former Bulls keeper Adam Bartlett posted the following picture to Twitter yesterday, showing the state of Gateshead's pitch.
The Heed haven't played at home since New Years Day, and are not due a home match for two further weeks.
