Pretty Tough says Foyle

Hereford United manager Martin Foyle admitted that it had been 'pretty tough' after Marlon Jackson was sent off last night at Tamworth.

"We had to change it (in the second-half)," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We put Stef in front and take Clisty off because of the height factor.

"They just launched it but that's the way they play

"We've got to deal with it and at times I thought we dealt with it very well."

Foyle wasn't certain that Marlon Jackson should have received his red card given a previous incident.

"Whether Marlon's was a sending off - it might have been - but their player should have been sent off before that without any question of doubt.

"He'd lost the ball, the red rag came out and he's had a lunge at the ball.

"These are major decisions that I think some referees struggle to do."

Two players picked up knocks which might keep them out of Saturday's game at Alfreton.

"Towner came off with a sore knee, Luke has a shoulder injury.

"So we've got a few injuries which worries me.

"And we can't just go with two strikers."
