Keeper Dan Hanford kept the Bulls a point after an aerial bombardment from Tamworth.
Marlon Jackson went from hero to villain, getting sent off with the Bulls a goal up through Marley Watkins. The winger earned the Bulls a second from the spot, with Harry Pell converting, after Jackson's dismissal but the Bulls had to play the bulk of the game as a rearguard action with Hanford starring inbetween the sticks and the Tamworth goals had more than an air of inevitability to them.
