Ex-Bull Watch

In League One, Yoann Arquin had an eventful debut for Notts County. The Frenchman scored what turned out to be the winner in the game at Crewe, but was sent off two minutes later for violent conduct. Febian Brandy lasted just six minutes of his Walsall league debut due to injury as he was one of five ex-Bulls to feature in their loss to Doncaster.

In League Two, Jennison Myrie-Williams scored from the penalty spot as Port Vale hammered Barnet. Michael Ingham was booked as York had an unfortunate return to the League, losing 3-1 at home to Wycombe.

In the Conference, Sam Oji scored the only goal as Tamworth beat Stockport. In Conf North, Tyler Weir was booked as Worcester drew at Bradford PA. In Conf South, Tim Sills scored the winner for Basingstoke as they beat Sutton.

In the Welsh Premier, Ryan Green played the full game in the centre of defence as Port Talbot lost their televised opener at home to Llanelli.
