The proceeds from tomorrow's Open Day and Legends Game at Edgar Street will go towards Hereford United's Youth Development. Chairman David Keyte has revealed that the youth system budget has been cut by £24,000 from last season.
"All the proceeds are going to the youth system, which has been considerably pegged back by relegation," said Keyte.
"It's a good occasion for supporters to watch the first team train, as well as see the fans and legends match in the afternoon."
The open days starts at 10am, whilst the legends match will kick-off at 3pm.
Meanwhile Chris Price is the latest addition to the Legends squad which will be managed by Keyte.
Price made over 300 appearances for the Bulls before being sold to Blackburn Rovers in 1986.
In January 2011, Price was involved in a freak incident in Australia where he now lives.
Today's Hereford Journal carries a sad story about Chris Price, the former Hereford United defender.
It reports that Price was enjoying a day on a beach in Queenland when he was knocked down by a high wave. His daughter found him face down in the water. Luckily a lifeguard intervened.
Price was put on oxygen but went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. He was taken for resuscitation and intensive care once he eventually arrived at the hospital following traffic problems.
A few days later he told the Blackburn Express more about the incident.
"I’m so shocked that the news has managed to get round so fast but unfortunately it's all true," said Price.
"I’m back at home now recovering from pneumonia that was an after-effect of all the water in my lungs.
"I’m still not able to walk but I’m gradually getting there.
"I did stop breathing and my heart did stop but thanks to the efforts of the life guards they bought me back round.
"Thank you for all your on-going support. There's still a long way to go but I'm getting there. Thanks everyone."
