Bulls record League appearance holder Mel Pejic has been named as Macclesfield's new physio.
Pejic spent 12 years at the heart of the Bulls' defence from 1980 racking up over 500 appearances in total before moving on to Wrexham, where he took over physio duties in 1995.
He left Wrexham last summer for a physio role with Bolton's reserve side but has now returned to first team service at Moss Rose. He will return to Edgar Street for the first game of the season hoping for a better result than his last visit.
Back in 2008 Pejic was on the touchline as Wrexham were relegated at Edgar Street after the Bulls beat the Dragons 2-0. His son, Hereford-born Shaun, was in the Wrexham side that day.
